At Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge, you are our guest and we want you to be comfortable. We want you to put your feet up. We want you to be in full vacation mode. To us, this means having plenty of space to enjoy meals, relax and take in the peace of the Kenai River and this great setting.
If the fish didn't tire you out, you might strike up a game or two in the evening to complete your day. Feel free to use the lodge equipment for your game of choice:
volleyball
badminton
horseshoes
basketball
ping pong
unguided fishing from our eddy
If, on the other hand, you need to preserve your vitality for tomorrow's day of fishing, we encourage you to enjoy some lounge time on our large riverside deck. Guests have seen moose and bald eagles while lazing on the deck. Let us know if you'd like to use the wood-fired sauna and we'll get it ready. If you play cards, you might gravitate toward the natural history lounge for an evening game. Maybe you'd rather stretch your legs on our self-guided nature trail or relax by the group campfire while talking about the ones that didn't get away.
Many guests choose non-fishing activities as well, such as guided hiking or scenic rafting. Please ask for details and we'll talk over your ideas and help plan for those in your traveling party that may not share the same affinity for Alaska sportfishing.
